Cedric Marsh (ZIZIN) is a full time artist from central Massachusetts. His work consists of contemporary genre scenes which express the human condition, and the nuances of day to day life. ZIZIN is an avid landscape painter, often working en plein air, capturing the swamplands and local wildlife of his state. Through loose brushwork and saturated hues, ZIZIN creates imagery that feels floaty yet grounded in emotion. He works primarily in oils, yet also creates one of a kind “screenprints” using bleach and fabric. ZIZIN studied Art Education at Framingham State and was an elementary art teacher for 5 years. He now studies realism at the Academy of Realist Art in Boston.
